Databases offered through the school libraries are wonderful resources to use in all content areas for virtual learning. All the library databases are age-appropriate in terms of content and reading level, compatible with Google and Microsoft platforms, and offer translation and read-aloud capabilities. In addition, many offer the ability to highlight and save articles. Many have resources for teachers to help plan lessons, quiz students or integrate database materials within the Common Core curriculum. The link below highlights some of the databases purchased for the Middle School here at BMMS with a basic review of functionality that supports virtual learning. These resources are available to you and your students, are compatible with Google Classroom and can supplement materials you use in your curriculum.
