Discovery Streaming

Need a hook?  Looking to engage students with a media clip or build their media literacy skills while delivering your content?  Check out Discovery Streaming .  This resource, offers full and segmented video, images, electronic bulletin boards, writing prompts and assessment tools which can all be assigned to the a class of students. Did you know all BMMS teachers as well as students have their own individual accounts on Discovery Streaming? Students should log in using their school email and password.  Teachers, please see me if you can't retrieve a lost password or forgot your user name.  Need further assistance using some of the new features added to Discovery Streaming.  Please ask, I'd be happy to meet with you individually or with your team for a quick training session. Informe Academico  - search and retrieve articles from magazines originally written in Spanish. Non-spanish speaking users can navigate and read abstracts in English, but will need to translate articles. Check out these resources.  Science Flix  and  Science in Context  - stay up to date with curriculum based topics and science news in the life sciences, earth science, astronomy, technology, engineering, physical sciences, health and the human body, mathematics, science history and biography.
